Stopping discharging a battery during charging
I am from a country where power outage is very common. I have a light source which is run by a lead acid battery. At night, I want to keep this light ON during power outage and when the electricity is back on, the charging circuit engages and the lights should turn off itself. I am guessing an...- adilsyyed

The amount of heat entering the system?
If air at a constant temperature is entering the system at a known flow rate, Can we measure the amount of heat entering the system. For example, air at 330K is entering a system with a constant flow rate of 30CFM, can I measure heat entering this system. (Let just say we are not considering...- adilsyyed

Heat required to evaporate water.
Delta T, in my understanding is the change in temperature. And this equation is for calculating heat required to raise the temperature by certain degree Celsius of the given material. I want to keep the temperature constant, that is, supplying the heat through a constant temperature air...- adilsyyed

Heat required to evaporate water.
If 1 kg water is required to be evaporated, not at 100 degree Celsius, how can I calculate the heat required. Let say a constant temperature of 50 degree Celsius is maintained, then what will be the scenario, and what if the constant temperature of 70 degree Celsius is maintained.- adilsyyed

How to calculate pressure thrust created by a fan?
If I know fan specifications like the size, CFM etc. How can I calculate the pressure thrust or negative pressure it creates. I am using a fan in an opening of the cabinet that pushes air outside the cabinet. And I need to know how much pressure drop it will cause on the suction side. It will...- adilsyyed

Modeling of Fluid(air) in ProE/ANSYS
Thank you for the detail reply. It really helps. And I am a student and it is a project. Now I am doing the analysis in ANSYS CFX. But just out of curiosity, what steps would you follow if you would do it in ANSYS (not Workbench)?- adilsyyed

Modeling of Fluid(air) in ProE/ANSYS
Hello. I want to do a thermal analysis of a cabinet having air. Its the temperature distribution I am interested in. How can I model air, and mesh it. I am a newbie to ANSYS. So actually the questions are 1. Can I model air in Pro E 2. Can I model/mesh it in ANSYS. 3. Do I need Ansys CFX?- adilsyyed
