How do you find centripetal force without knowing velocity?

Coriolis force is the tangential force experienced on the particle which is coming closer or going away from the center of circular motion. Just like the winds change directions.- ashishsinghal

Even I thought the same way. But the coriolis force is not directed radially. It is a tangential force. Also coriolis force depends upon the rate of change of radial distance which here is zero.- ashishsinghal

Hey Azizlwl, Take a rectangular element of length a and height as given at a distance r from the axis. Make the width very small i.e. dr. What is the moment of inertia of this element about the axis? (Use parallel axis theorem). Now integrate. you will get your answer.- ashishsinghal

In the question I am not able to understand what the scenario is. Is it that we are removing the P force after insertion? If that is the case, both the normal and the friction forces will change after removal of P. Then how can we calculate. Please help, I am going to have my exams tomorrow.- ashishsinghal
