Partial differential wave (d'Alembert) solution check please
I see, it should be + sin(x)/2 But I don't see how substituting t=0 will provide the result of y(x,0)=sin(x), as its sin(x)/2 along with an exponential function.- CannonSLX

Can I Create a Calibration Curve Using Only Peak Area Data?
We've been told to use area, so would normalising be the right idea for this approach ?- CannonSLX

Can I Create a Calibration Curve Using Only Peak Area Data?
I see, thanks. To calculate the area, can I normalise my data so that the area under the curve is directly po Thanks. I've managed to do it and used excel to calculate the gradient, in the form y=mx+c One last question. If I run a sample with an unknown concentration of F-, if I know the area...- CannonSLX

Can I Create a Calibration Curve Using Only Peak Area Data?
Thanks, but I'm not sure I fully understand. This is my current data graph; https://i.gyazo.com/72d8f842cc504e924d1d0f106fb0266a.png The first large peak corresponds to F- ions. If I assumed the signal as 0 how would I plot a calibration curve ? Would it be possible for me to choose 2 points on...- CannonSLX

Can I Create a Calibration Curve Using Only Peak Area Data?
I've just done an ion chromatography experiment and have normalized my data for a known sample which has a known concentration of 10ppm. I know that the first large peak is due to F- ions and so the area of the peak is propositional to the concentration of the ion. Given that I know the area...- CannonSLX

Checking Diagram for H2, CO, CH4 Reactor Flow Ratios
Yes I understand that they are mole fractions :) I don't see why its necessary to solve for the mole fractions ? If I take a basis and use input=output can I not simply do as I have done in the image ? As in Feed:purge 16:1- CannonSLX

Checking Diagram for H2, CO, CH4 Reactor Flow Ratios
Well, as its asking for the ratios all I have done it calculated the flow rate for the purge stream and divided the feed stream by the purge stream. This is what I have done; https://i.gyazo.com/f8da4c1adac28ccb28c7aa3af095e1db.png- CannonSLX
