Graduate Group Theory for Unified Model Building
In fact, I knew there is a rewiev By Slanski about group theory but is not self-contained, so I wrote this title just to let the others know how about to LEARN some group theory appositely to study the structure of multiplets in the case of GUTs. I am not aware of what kind of Young Tableaux...- ClubDogo

Graduate Group Theory for Unified Model Building
Hi everyone, I want to ask everybody if someone knows a book, or some lecture notes available on the net, to lear how to decompose the Lie Groups in irreps in physical notation, like 8_v \otimes 8_v=1+28+35 that can be found everywhere on books like BB&S or Polchinski. It is really hard...- ClubDogo

Graduate How make a confront between energy levels?
Hi there. It is a fact that, historically, the Schrödinger Equation provides wrong energy levels for the Hydrogen Atom. The same is for The Relativistic Schrödinger Equation (hehe, this is not known by most of students, seek it in arxiv database, it was the original developed by Schrödinger...- ClubDogo

Graduate Why Does the Electron Not Fall Toward the Nucleus in QM?
Ok, I'm a physicist. I know the Bohr-Sommerfeld model.. but it does not explain the atom structure. It states. Nothing else. THAT'S NOT A VALID ANSWER: it's like to say "this is so, because so it is". And the problem is the same in the planetary motion, gravitational force is only...- ClubDogo

Graduate Why Does the Electron Not Fall Toward the Nucleus in QM?
Why does in QM the electron does not fall toward the nucleus? After all, the only force between nucleus and electron is attractive (- electron and + nucleus). Is the same reason that justifies the moon does not fall to the earth?- ClubDogo

Graduate Rigorous Determination of Bosonic and fermoinic commutation relation
Is there a book that explain in a formal way the deduction of symmetry/antisymmetry of bosonic/fermionic wave equation e/o commutation relation? I've often noticed that some people use examples for the introcution, but is there an axiomatic deduction?- ClubDogo

Graduate Energy levels for the Hydrogen Atom
Hello everybody. As you surely know, the Schrödinger treatment of the Hydrogen Atom gives wrong eigenvalues for the Spectrum. The Dirac equation provides for a correct one. On the other hand, the first who found the correct expression for the levels was "mighty" Sommerfeld using a mixture of...- ClubDogo
