How can an Op Amp voltage comparator be used as a voltage controlled switch?
forgot to mention this must be low power my V2 supply is 50mA and 3.5V Maximum (switches on and off thus super capacitor charging circuit)- Daniel Floyd

How can an Op Amp voltage comparator be used as a voltage controlled switch?
Hi I am trying to create a circuit which i can use as a voltage controlled switch. I have 2 voltage inputs, ** A constant 3V source V1, ** A source which charges up to 3.5V and then slowly discharges V2. I would like to amalgamate both sources so as when V2 discharges...- Daniel Floyd

What does the Hysteresis do in a UVLO (under Low Voltage Lockout)
i got this slightly wrong, i now believe the circuit before the UVLO is a charging circuit and when the voltage rises above 4.7V the UVLO passes this on to the output. I then believe the R5 and C1 create the time constant thus creating hysteresis which means the voltage will be locked on until...- Daniel Floyd

Zenner Diode Clipper: AC Voltage Spikes to 22V?
Thank you I have ordered some 22v zenner diodes in which I will use tomorrow. I tried to use this before but this didn't work I assume its because I used a series resistance thus making my over all impedance very high which pretty much stopped my circuit from working. I will simple try using...- Daniel Floyd

Zenner Diode Clipper: AC Voltage Spikes to 22V?
HI. I am using Piezo Electric as a AC voltage source which gives voltage spikes of around 35V little current because the impedance of the material is verry high, I would like to clip this voltage to 22 Volts i have seen that a 2 x 22V zenner diodes can be used back to back is thie right or...- Daniel Floyd

What does the Hysteresis do in a UVLO (under Low Voltage Lockout)
Jony. infact i have posted the wrong picture by mistake i do appologise, that is a picture of an over voltage system although i assume that it works the same anyway. I have reattached the Under Voltage system Thank you for the mathematics you have provided do you know the equation to work...- Daniel Floyd

What does the Hysteresis do in a UVLO (under Low Voltage Lockout)
With Some more research it has become apparent that the hysteresis in fact sets a sort of boundary line when using a schmitt trigger for example:Under Voltage Lockout is 3.0V and the Hysteresis is 500mV so because of this the device will turn off at 3.0V allowing the charge to reacumulate and...- Daniel Floyd

How can i receive Bluetooth signal in tiny robot ?
I believe the Arduino would be a good idea i know of people that have used Arduino to RECIEVED a signal via Bluetooth to output things such as lighting up a warning light a solenoid valve check this website out it explains everything you will need really...- Daniel Floyd

What does the Hysteresis do in a UVLO (under Low Voltage Lockout)
As fare as I have researched UVLO Under Low Voltage Lockout is a circuit which is used to turn off and on the output power of a electronic device according to voltage selected. For instance in a charging circuit the power will only flow to the load once the capacitor has charged to a certain...- Daniel Floyd

Voltage Suppression from 35V - 20V
Ok i am a hobbyist and i currently building a circuit in which when i place this on an oscilloscope i am gaining a voltage spike of 38V i need to minimise this spike down to a maximum of 20V in order to protect my external circuitry. When my circuit is working under 20V i need this protective...- Daniel Floyd

Capacitance needed to stabilize a voltage pulse
ok i need to know the value of the capacitor which i need. i have a pulse voltage of 6mV which i want to stabilise to create a voltage which will power a small L.E.D. i currently have a bridge rectifier and i know i need a capacitor but what would the value of this capacitor be.- Daniel Floyd
