Solving for Work: Tips and Hints | Work Equation Explained
U can find the force by the equation in terms of 5 sec interval. At the same time, u know that F = ma. Therefore, u can find distance d by dividing F by mass and integrate a twice.- deuel18

Understanding Two-Pass Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers
U r correct if u cut the capsule shell u will see 140 tubes. The configuration is as what Nidum said, it makes a U turn. This is to increase effective area in which the two fluids interect.- deuel18

Understanding Two-Pass Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers
Its one huge shell that looks like a capsule with 70 tubes inside. But if u cut that capsule shell in middle, those 70 tubes would pass twice the cut.- deuel18

Difference in power transfer with gear location
I'd like to know if there's a power transfer loss depending on how gears are connected and placed relative to each other. For the two distinct image down below, imagine ALL GEARS HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME DIAMETERS and the setup is such that the viewers are seeing the top (aerial view) and the gears...- deuel18

How can I solve a dynamic vibration problem?
I got those in mind but if I choose sum of the moment method at pivot A, it gives mg(L/2) - k(delta)(L) - k(y)(L) = I(alpha). Does that mean mg(L/2) is equal to k(delta)(L)?- deuel18

How can I solve a dynamic vibration problem?
I see. I guess my specific question is, if the bar as shown in number 7 is placed as is, should i take into account the weight? Like a suspended mass with spring, the weight is not considered. Is the same applies for this particular problem?- deuel18

Finding Work of a Hydrogen Explosion
I see, so height due to ejection of explosion is not enough to find the work done by the explosion. Then that means I'll need few oxygen inside the chamber mixed with the hydrogen to ignite.- deuel18

Finding Work of a Hydrogen Explosion
Hello, I'm curious to find how much work is released by hydrogen explosion. My method is by making a projectile launched vertically by hydrogen's explosion. Take the highest peak that the projectile launched, multiply it by the projectile's mass and gravity which should yield the maximum...- deuel18

Undergrad Rotating Stator: Permanent Magnets & Rotor Polarity Change
I know but i just used the 'term' so readers could see the perspective I am at. Because if I say rotor and then rotor, what's the difference? So I had to use the same term. -
Undergrad Rotating Stator: Permanent Magnets & Rotor Polarity Change
Hello. I just want to know if it is possible to have permanent magnets as Stator in a Rotating Magnetic field morot. However, these Stators rotates to change their polarities in relation with the Rotor. Much like the harmony of Intake/Exhaust valves in an Internal Combustion Engine.
