Question about coulomb's force.
Why find the differentiation with respect to q and then equate it to 0? I mean why force will be maximum when we do this? Can anyone explain? Moreover, whether we differentiate the expression with "Q" or "q"?- DIMSKK

Electric dipole moment question
"a pair of equal and opposite electric charges or magnetic poles separated by a small distance". I was also thinking that we cannot assume that both charges are positive, but my teacher gave me this question as an assignment. I thought that may be there is a solution for this. So confused!- DIMSKK
