High School Finding amplitude from a diagram
Hi all, This is not homework or coursework. I am not sure whether this question would be classed as homework or coursework because it is neither. I am using the AQA Physics A AS textbook and attempting exercise 12.2 on page 177. In I am stuck on question 4 and I have absolutely no idea on... -

High School Solving for the Radius of a Circle in a Sector
Hi all, I have found this formula being used but I am not sure what it means. It is used to find the radius of a circle in a sector. Hope you can help me understand it. sin(π/6) = r/(6-r) r is the radius of the circle itself and 6 is the radius of the sector or the circle of the sector...- Googl

How to Divide a Polynomial by a Binomial Using Long Division
Because I have not really came across a problem like this I am finding it even difficult to think about the factor. An example will enlighten me. How about powering it (3x)^3 and divide by 9. (3x)^3 / 9 That would not work, would it?- Googl

High School Is the Equation P(A' U B) = P(B) + P(A' U B') Correct in S1 Statistics?
Hi all, Could you confirm this for me please. I am revising S1 statistics. P(A' u B) = P(B) + P(A' u B') Is that true? I assume you can represent that on a venn diagram. Is that true. I am having trouble understanding the equations which contain ' such as P(A' n B). Thank you.- Googl
