SNRDB= 10*log10(SNR) -> log base 10SNR = 10.^(SNRDB/10)
SNRDB= 10*log10(SNR) --> log base 10SNR = 10.^(SNRDB/10) SNRDB= 10*log10(SNR) --> log base 10 SNR = 10.^(SNRDB/10) ---(1) SNR = exp(SNRDB*ln(10)/10) ---(2) How is equation 2 comes as I checked both equation 1 & 2 are equivalent numerically. I am not able to derive equation 2.- hariyo

Are Real and Complex Analysis useful for engineering students?
Thankyou Number9 and others. Could you also share your thoughts for linear algebra and abstract algebra? And last one for statistics(not probability & Random variable) topics includes the basic theory of statistical inference for instance classical theory of estimation & hypothesis testing...- hariyo

Are Real and Complex Analysis useful for engineering students?
I have never studied analysis as i am graduate student in engineering. Can anyone point me the elementary book on real and complex analysis preferably junior, undergraduate level book. I found this 2. Can anyone math graduate student comment or put some advice onto it. 1. Elementary Real and...- hariyo

Can This Exponential Identity Be Proven?
Sorry I think i know by now. Here is the solution. exp(jAt)+exp(jBt)= 2exp(j(A+B)/2)cos((A-B)/2) (exp(jAt)+exp(jBt) ) exp(-j(A+B)t/2) exp(+j(A+B)t/2) (exp(j(A-B)t/2)+exp(-j(A-B)t/2) ) exp(+j(A+B)t/2) cos((A-B)t/2) 2exp(j(A+B)/2)t- hariyo

Information Theory or Wireless communication
Hi Guys, I am in real dellima to take between this course. Obviously I prefer theory but I know my limitation too. Can some one shade between this 2 course which one is really good not interms of employment but interms of knowledge and content. I might decide between this 2 course for my grad...- hariyo

E.Engr running out of ideas to enter the world of physics
hi, Ya I am aware of that as I am also from EE background. Actually what I mean is that in high energy physics most probably do we have to analyze the signal using necessary signal processing tools like FFT,DFT etc? I was just curious and I believe high energy physicst can better answer this...- hariyo

E.Engr running out of ideas to enter the world of physics
I have one more question on top of it. Do you know if signal processing is somehow related to high energy physics as solid state/semiconductor is more related to quantum physics?- hariyo

Family & graduate study, is it possible?
Have anyone done this? After working in industry for some time I am planning to go back to grad study possibly in EE(MS,Phd). I have 2 infant kids. How difficult it will be to balance family life and grad study? Are there any tips or thoughts anyone?- hariyo

Physics or Electrical Engineering
I am in serious dilemma what to choose. I work as software profession till now for 5 yrs and I am already 30 yrs old.Lately I was thinking going back to school and apply for EE(signal procession or communication or RF) for phd. I got admission on them too but I am least interested onto it though...- hariyo
