    How do I manage how much of each subject I study?

    Well, for my day schedule, I spent weekdays solely on homework and my studies. I come home after school and some activities around 6:00 PM. And from 6 to 10-11 I do my homework first. So any problems, essays, etc that are for school I do. The rest of the things that I do are: SAT prep AP...

    Are you single, married, or do you have a gf/bf?

    I'm 16 and don't have a GF but I'm not looking for one at all. I'm not looking for any type of relationship right now. I have way too many more important priorities. Probably once I land into an internship at a good firm that I'll be working for in my senior year of college, I'll start looking, lol.

    Did your parents pressure you to pursue a certain career?

    Did your parents pressure you to pursue a certain career?? I'm 16 and a junior in high school and it's crazy. My parents are pressuring me to be a doctor it's not even funny, lol. I try to reason with them and I really don't understand why they think doctors are such "god-like" people, lol. I...

    What are the solutions to csc x + 2 = 0 for 0 <= x < 2 \pi?

    Oh jeez, I'm such an idiot. I hate making little mistakes like that. So the answer is B. then since 7\pi/6 is in Quadrant 3?

    What are the solutions to csc x + 2 = 0 for 0 <= x < 2 \pi?

    Tangent is positive in Quadrant 3 (ASTC as I learned it), so wouldn't sine be negative there? I asked my dad about this too and he said that the answer is B. but I don't understand because 7\pi/6 is in the third quadrant and isn't that negative if it's sine?

    What are the solutions to csc x + 2 = 0 for 0 <= x < 2 \pi?

    Ohhhh, ok. So \pi/6 is in Quadrant I so that's correct and then 5\pi/6 is in Quad. 2 so that's also correct but 7\pi/6 is in Quad. 3 which is negative. So the answer is A.?

    Question about simplifying this equation

    Thanks for telling me about the symbols. That should come in handy :)Just realized this isn't the forum for homework questions so I'm going to make a new thread in the correct section.

    Question about simplifying this equation

    I have another question I can't understand. Which expression is equivalent to cos(pi + theta) (I don't know how to import the signs. and I checked the computer's character map) So what I did was take cos(pi + theta) and put down the formula: cos pi * cos theta - sin pi * sin theta But I...

    Question about simplifying this equation

    Yeah, thanks for that. But I thought about what mathman said and the answer was obvious, lol. Thanks a lot though for working it out. Yeah, so the 2(1/cosx) becomes 2secx... That was pretty stupid, lol. Thanks though. This is a little off-topic for this thread but I really lack in courses...

    Question about simplifying this equation

    tan x/sin x + 1/cos x The choices are A. 2tan^2x B. 2cosx C. 2cosx-1 D. 2secx Do I make the tan sin/cos and multiply by reciprocal of sin? I did that and end up with 1/cos + 1/cos

    How Can I Effectively Learn Physics on My Own as a High School Student?

    What I meant was which sub-forum in these forums would be best for me...but I guess "General Physics" right? Thanks though...An example of a question I have is how do I plot the picture onto a Cartesian plane in the example in my first post.
