Radiosonde (Upper Air Synopsis)
Does anyone on this forum have any working knowledge of the Sounding Processing Subsystem SPS331A manufactured by Vaisala? It is used for Upper Air Synopsis. If so could you please provide me with the documentation for the sounding system or any other useful documents? Thanks- JohnielWhite

Variable dielectric capacitors
@ MATLABdude Thanks for your response but I read in a book "Industrial Control Handbook" that there are four fundamentals of variable capacitance displacement transducers. i. Capacitor basics ii. Variable separation iii.Variable area iV. Variable Dielectric From the formula of a parallel plate...- JohnielWhite

Variable dielectric capacitors
Good day All: How can I prove that a linear relationship exist between the displacement (d) and the capacitance(C) of a Variable dielectric capacitor? I know that the equation for a capacitor's capacitance is: C= εA/d- JohnielWhite

50Hz vs. 60Hz Electricity cycles
I have read that link/article before. What I was hoping for is to obtain some deeper findings and research from someone, preferably an engineer who have already done research on this area and had literature that would be useful just for reading purposes. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, it was...- JohnielWhite

50Hz vs. 60Hz Electricity cycles
Ok that's a start and thanks for your reply @ NascentOxygen... @SteamKing I wasnt placing blame, sorry if it seem that way... I would really appreciate if you gave an answer to the question though... Which in essence, why does most countries operate on a 50Hz cycle rather than a 60 Hz cycle...- JohnielWhite

50Hz vs. 60Hz Electricity cycles
I have been reading and it came to my attention that it is more effective to generate electricity at a 60Hz cycle that it is at a 50Hz cycle. Yet only a minority of countries generate electricity using 60Hz. Why is it most countries generate their electricity at a 50Hz cycle when it is known...- JohnielWhite

Robotics and Automation of a Robotic Arm
I don't have an answer to all the the questions you asked as it was just an idea I had. However your questions have given me a foundation on which to start. I will get all the information and post them on the PF as soon as possible. What I do have are images of the robotic arm in my school's...- JohnielWhite

Writing information to Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) tags
Thanks for your response. We are using AT870 RFID readers and I haven't seen the tags that we are expected to use as yet. We will be using a 11 digit alphanumeric system. Any response stating how to write to any tags will be greatly appreciated. As soon as my lecturer is available I will get the...- JohnielWhite

Writing information to Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) tags
Good day, I have been given the task to create an inventory database for the books at the library at my school using the RFID to monitor the books. However the books have specific codes based on their type and location in the library. I was wondering if someone could give me some information as...- JohnielWhite
