Engineering Can a BSc in Math Lead to a Master's in Mechanical Engineering?
My primary goal is to get phd and receive tenure track at a university. I know this is extremely challenging career path. I have heard of post-doc hell and associate professors get really stressed to get tenure track. And I might change my mind after my bachelor's degree. The reason why I am...- l-1j-cho

Undergrad Is there any way to find the product of prime numbers?
According to the prime number theorem, the number of prime numbers that are less than N is approximately N\ln(N) for a sufficiently large N. But can we find the product of prime numbers that are less than N? (For example, N=20 then 2x3x5x7x11x13x17x19 although I think 20 isn't large enough haha)- l-1j-cho

High School Can Mosquitoes Fly Faster Than 80km/h?
so my family went to fishing and an unwelcome mosquito got into our car when the car was not moving and left the windows open. When the car was moving in 90km/h, the mosquito was flying steady in the air. Was it moving in 80km/h? -

Quantitative Analyst physics job
Thank you for your reply. I was wondering if you can elaborate different types of quants, for favor? Like, I don't want to deal with clients and don't want to get stressed and don't want to work like 100 hours weekly. I know it is too early to really narrow it down but I just want to get...- l-1j-cho

Graduate Max Temperature: Physics Teacher & Quantum Mechanics Explained
so my physics teacher once told me that no one has calculated the maximum temperature reachable. I thought if particles are moving in the speed of light, since the speed of light is the maximum speed reachable, then the average kinetic energy of particle is the maximum temperature. He replied...- l-1j-cho

Math Do mathematicians struggle to get a job?
How big is the job market for cryptographers? Cryptographers are paid well($80000 according to several websites) but how big is the job market? I know that most engineers do not worry about getting jobs since the job market is huge but, not sure for cryptographers. Are they classified as...- l-1j-cho

Engineering Biomedical Engineering graduate school
So only few universities offer BME programme in Bachelor Level. If I want to pursue this career, I need to go to graduate school. Then what Bachelor's degree should I get? Is it better to have BSc in Biology or BASc in Mechanical Engineering?- l-1j-cho
