    It's pretty basic. The commands follow logical normal english order. If you wanted to get ahead you could take a quick look at QBASIC from an online tutorial before you start. It's hte predecessor and uses very similar commands in a DOS interface.

    Practise doesn't make perfect, but it helps all the same. I find the best way to learn new physics and math ideas is to understand what's happening, label the known variables, realize what you need, and try find a formula that suites.

    Hmm, a battery? A magnet will have the desired effect due to Lenz's Law (see above poster), because of the magnetic field conducting charge flow. To do so with a battery would require a metal and copper wire loops to be involved. Are you sure it was just a battery?
