Wow! Thank you so much for your recommendations this list should keep me occupied for quite some time :D. I'm going to continue to read basic physics books which are more algebra related and once I have advanced my maths skills accordingly buy the more advanced physics books, again I can't thank...
Well the simple answer is, not really. You need mathematics there's no way to hide from it if you wish to learn physics. If you wish to truly understand principles you need mathematics...it's not that big of a deal.
If you've never been good at mathematics start from the start...
Now to...
Hello there,
I was wondering whether anyone has any success stories so share in terms of studying. At this time of the year many students may feel they have a long way to go before seeing the actual success of their studies. Some may even experienced poor grades and have increased their work...
interesting, I had this problem when I was trying to figure out what to to pick. In the end I finally found a CS course which has enough math and hardware. When I was researching where or what to take I realized no univeristy presents CS or CE in the same way. Listen, you asked us to decide...
I did the first section of the question. I rearranged a = 4b / (6c -5d) to be c = (A b/a) + Bd
but then it says express A and B as fractions in their simplest form. Is the question worded wrong? I've never seen anything like this before?
So I have got answers to this logical puzzle. However, I feel ill and slow. I have checked this over and over and I am 80% it is totally correct. To make sure I would like a second opinion. Do you get the same answers?
The puzzle is in quotes:

I just finished reading "Future Science: Essays from the cutting edge" and it has got me very excited about science. I was wondering whether you could recommend some more.
Thanks
I disagree with everyone here on the most part.
I believe (of course, based on myself) that grit is the main factor in how people become good mathematicians. I'm new to maths but if you're motivated and have realistic goals you can become a ace...no matter what.
Grit. It's a personality...
Some things seem to take longer to understand and solve than others. Another thing is because I am behind I spent 3 of those 5 hours getting worried about getting behind! :(
I'm about a month into my CS degree but I'm having some trouble.
I'm not behind in any assignments and in fact I got 100% in my first assignment. However, the problem lies with my own study plan. The university recommends you study for 4-5 hours for each subject. I've only been generally...
