I'm attempting to get a rough estimate on how the shape of an electromagnet pole will affect the field produced. Most of the poles you see in labs are tapered, and not simply cylindrical - I'm wondering how this affects the field. After all, there has to be a reason why they would do such a...
yeaaaahhh... this Noone1982 guy posted this, but I'm getting emails for it.
In fact, ZapperZ gave me a warning for it, and didn't reply to my message stating it wasn't me.
Would a moderator please resolve this?
he's referring to a movie entitled "The Entity".
I don't know the factual basis behind the movie. At the climax they end up freezing the entity in liquid nitrogen - so I think it's probably just as made up as the Amityville story.
In so far as consistency is concerned, this stands out as one of the better trilogies, imho. All three films were incredibly well made, which is rare in a trilogy (matrix comes to mind).
Formulaic, yes. It's a good formula though.

}
use Y_kn to make some calculations

So I'm using freopen to redirect output from stdout to a file... How do I redirect it back to the screen?
relevant code:
FILE *stream = freopen("data.txt", "w", stdout);
/* print stuff */
How the heck do I get the output stream to point to the console again?
I date a woman who is 2 inches taller (easy to do when you're 5'5) and for the most part it's not a problem. I wouldn't say that it adversely affects the relationship, though it can play havoc with the logistics of displaying one's affection.
