I Uncertainty Principle.... Intent Behind It?

Then Einstein was right, if we notice the uncertainty caused by the mathematics. This is a sign of something that is an issue. No insult meant here to anyone. But, I appreciate the answer. I have gotten vague answers before and this helps. Thanks.

I Uncertainty Principle.... Intent Behind It?

You said, 'The reason for the HUP is simply the math of non-commuting operators.' By this, do you mean that the way this math works forces you to be 'uncertain'? If so, this seems like an artifact of the math, rather than a result of correct modelling. Or, to put it another way, if we modeled...

I Uncertainty Principle.... Intent Behind It?

You said, 'When you later measure that, you will find that the new outcome (for momentum) is random and uncorrelated to any prior measurement of that observable.' Why is this? I get that it is not a matter of us having messed anything up due to the act of measurement. Is it a matter of...

I Is Sonoluminescence Possible with Liquid Hydrogen?

I suppose that answers my question if it was a hydrogen bubble. I would like to read the whole text but it doesn't seem to be available.

I Is Sonoluminescence Possible with Liquid Hydrogen?

I did do some basic googling on this, but I came up empty-handed. Have there been any sonoluminescence studies done with liquid hydrogen? Thanks.

I Does an inverse Riemann exist?

i am interested in the ∑ use. i was confused in calling it a riemann sum. too long since college. it's a summation symbol. what i was interested in is if you can put the higher value on the bottom and lower value on the top. If so, is that viewed as indicating you wish to decrement from the...

I Does an inverse Riemann exist?

∑ is a riemann. You pointed out an integral. They are similar but not the same. I am talking about the riemann sum. hope that clarifies.

What are the benefits of self-publishing a science fiction novel?

Thanks. I have been here and not registered and read lots of posts here. Always interesting.

What are the benefits of self-publishing a science fiction novel?

I am new to the forum and it was suggested that I introduce myself. So, here goes: I have math up to linear algebra in College. I am pretty rusty in my math, but I am interested in it still. I used to work at Cat Tractor but the big boys there trashed a bunch of their IT people at the end...

I Does an inverse Riemann exist?

Ok, explain what you mean. I had never seen that before.

I Does an inverse Riemann exist?

I already googled this but I did not find a definite answer. Is there such a thing as a 'inverse riemann'? Specifically, where you invert the start number to be at the top of the riemann symbol and then decrement down to the end value which is on the bottom of the riemann symbol?
