High Voltage NST - Playing with the Frequency
I'm quite aware of the dangers and how to avoid them, what about using a simple function generator after wards to modulate the frequency. I just want a high voltage ac that I can modulate the frequency of.- StrongForce

High Voltage NST - Playing with the Frequency
When I plug my NST into the wall at 60 Hz, I've been told a 120 Hz AC current comes out of my NST. What happens if I modulate the input frequency with a function generator to the transformer?- StrongForce

What Is the Maximum Length of a Plasma Tube to Excite Only One Frequency?
Homework Statement Alright this is from the MIT intro series book by AP French on Waves and Optics, Problem 6-10 (If you happen to have the book) "A laser can be made by placing a plasma tube in an optical presonany caity formed by two highly reflecting faltmirrors, which act like rigid...- StrongForce

Graduate Resonant Plasma/New ICF method
Alright, I've been looking around for an opinion on this for awhile: Suppose you have a tube of deuterium whose radius is much much less then the length. You use a high voltage/large current to ionize this Deuterium. In a similar configuration to the Z-Pinch device a magnetic field is...- StrongForce

Undergrad How Can You Prove Famous Mathematical Equations?
IMHO, Wikipedia is a great source because it gives you what you need to get to certain equations, but doesn't give you the steps in between--you can prove them yourself. I feel Wiki is accurate enough for math, maybe not for other subjects.- StrongForce
