Undergrad Calculate the power produced by a wheel
Hi, I am trying to calculate the power produced by this Stirling engine: I know there is a way of finding by measuring the pressure and temperature inside the engine but the only data I have is the weight the RPM and the weight of every part of the engine. I understand how to calculate power... -

High School Can You Calculate Heat Conductivity with These Simple Variables?
Thank you. How would you know the rate of heat flow beforehand? Dont you need to know both temperatures to find heat flow- TheAnt

High School Can You Calculate Heat Conductivity with These Simple Variables?
Is there an easy way to calculate the temperature on one side of a material if we know what material it is, the thickness of it and the temperature on the other side. Basically can we calculated the heat transferred through a material if heated. Thank you- TheAnt

Graduate Thermodynamics : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uc9P5yb3Xtc
Hi I had a question about this video. Indeed if I understand the video correctly it states that energy is linked to information. But how does that work indeed knowing that energy is constant, that more entropy = less information and that entropy increases. It seems that the universe will end...- TheAnt

High School How is the strength of a magnetic field measured?
I was wondering at what point the strength of the magnetic of a magnet was mea. I assume it would not be the origin of the field which would be inside the magnet and not the side of the magnet itself as the value would be dependent of the size of the magnet. Is there a standard of where to...- TheAnt

Undergrad Does the inverse square rule work with a magnetic field?
I am interested in mini magnetospheres. How do i calculate the intensity of the field at a certain distance if i already know theits intensity at the source?- TheAnt

Calculus Any suggestions for good beginner calculus textbooks.
Sorry for the lack of precision in my earlier reply. What i want for the moment is just a basic knowledge of calculus as it is tackled much later and in less depth in France than in other countries (eg. England). The main goal is to get on par with the British level once I reach university. As...- TheAnt

I am in the french system but i think i have igcse/as level mathematics. My goal is simply to apply calculus to physics as i was told it was needed to move on.- TheAnt
