Anyone else called to find out your November Physics GRE score?
So in case you didn't know, today is the day you can start calling and give 12 dollars to ETS(...) to find out your GRE score before the 23rd when you can see it online.
I still haven't finalized my list of schools so I called...
I'm looking into applying to about 10 schools? I am doing research on biophysics, been on it for two semesters now. I want to be doing condensed matter or quantum information science though
I have a question pretty specific towards my situation but I think its an interesting thing to think about anyways.
I am in the process of applying for graduate programs for the fall, and from two professors I got slightly different advice. One said that I should apply to few top schools, few...
Well, I know what I don't want to do at least.
I want to work outside of academia when I'm done, so stuff like particle/high energy physics or pretty much anything theoretical isn't what I want to do.
Other than that, no clue lol
Hi,
I'm a senior undergrad preparing for graduate studies.
But I have this problem where I don't really know what field of physics I want to go in.
I really have no clue.
And I feel like that is a big part in deciding what schools to apply/attend.
Then again, I feel like no one really...
My understanding for gradient is that basically a vector that points in the direction of greatest change. Curl on the the other hand being the uniformity(or lack there of) in the vector field. I have a hard time getting an intuitive understanding of divergence though.
Well, last summer I ended up doing absolutely nothing so I'm trying to make sure that I do something productive and have something to put on my resume when it comes time to apply for grad schools. As for "life plans", at the moment, its just getting through school, I plan to go for my phd...
I'm a sophomore who recently switched from EE to physics, and now I am kind of lost as to what to do with my summer. Seems that industry internships all wants engineers, and research opportunities are all targeted towards people who finished their Junior/Senior year. I understand that a lot of...
I'm a sophomore EE student in US. When I was little, I imagined myself creating robots and other cool stuff, and that stuck through high school and into college. And now, I have been thinking about dropping EE and going with physics, which is what really interests me. I guess I've been a bit...
