Predictions for the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics are becoming increasingly challenging, with several notable candidates emerging from previous years. Key figures include Peter Shor and David Deutsch from the quantum computing sector, alongside Pablo Jarrillo Herrero and Allan McDonald for their work on twisted graphene. The Wolf Prize 2025 suggests James P. Eisenstein and Mordehai Heiblum for their contributions to 2D correlated electron systems. Additionally, John Martinis and Jian Wei Pan are highlighted for their advancements in quantum computing. The discussion invites further predictions and insights from the community.

Strange… when I posted, the last post was from October. I’m usually pretty good at referencing previous posts… or avoiding reposting current events. Apologies.

(Things have strange the last few days. I had to log back into my account on different devices. Maybe I have to manually-refresh old pages or else clear my cookies.)
