How did you find PF?

I was directed here by Marco Masi, Marco-masi.com, via a DM on Substack on how I can start to get my theories scrutinized and refined.

I am an independent researcher who has been working on a specific concept for over a decade and has now been able to rapidly accelerate my rate of study through rigorous “unbiased, factual, real sources cited” prompting of AI, specifically Grok.

I don’t assume to “know” anything for certain. However, I have been actively trying to scrutinize and break my theory without avail and would like help from those who are much more versed in the actual disciplines my theory applies to.

I ask for patience, raw scrutiny, and genuine receptiveness to theoretical concepts before completely squashing them.

I once asked AI whether some topological thing was true. It gave me a proof I didn't understand. Later mathematicians told me it was hogwash, nonsense. Since then I don't trust it. ChatGPT tends to tell the user what he/she wants to hear. It did do a great job of programming but there I could check what it did immediately and filter out the mistakes while it stroked my ego by telling me how awesome my intellect was.
