Anthropic is banning cruel or abusive behavior toward its models after a project was set up to purposely torture them.

I agree; furthermore, we should treat models courteously simply to maintain that habit, since if we are disrespectful to a machine all day long, it is quite likely we will carry that same behavior over into the rest of our time.

Models train models so we dont want to propagate bad behavior and ideas to future generations.
