Gravity at atomic levels, first time post
I have very little training in the area of Physics, but enough to understand most of what is said on this forum. This is a first time post. My question has to do with gravity on an atomic level. This question is for those of you familiar with trying to combine all four natural forces...- Peter Pan

Do Atomic Particles Have a Defined Size or Shape?
does anyone know if the atomic particles (protons, neutrons, electrons) have a particular size/shape? perhaps the idea of them having a certain radius is an imaginary concept? i would love to hear a knowledgeable opinion!- gendou

The Science Behind Cloud Formation: A Critique Request
I wrote this short article for my grandson concerning the formation of clouds at an atomic level. I would be interested in constructive criticism before I put it away until he gets older. If anyone is aware of websites or other sources of information concerning this subject, I would be...- Bill Gavlas

Determining Atomic Radii: Calculation and Method Explained
[SOLVED] Atomic radii I need to know precisely how the average atomic radii are calculated or found? I would expect it to be on the average contents of an experimental sample with adjustment for differing percentages. This would mean that isotopes missing from the sample are not included in...- elas

Understanding Atomic Radii: Average Figures or Unclear Measurement?
Apologies for raising this question again, but it has finally dawned on me that as the Tables of Elements give an average mass (i.e. for all isotopes of each element) as the Relative Atomic Mass for that element; then my question is - Is the figure quoted for Atomic Radii also an average...- elas
