What is the connection between Feynman's arrow and Schrödinger's psi?
I am reading Feynman's QED. On page 50 he states " The probability of an event is equal to the square of the length of an arrow called the "probility amplitude". What, if any, is the relationship between Feynman's "arrow" and Shroedinger's wave function "psi".- eb227

What is the recommended CFM at 90 PSI for various pipe sizes?
Hello folks, I am trying to find some general numbers on what the recommended max. CFM for compressed air @ 90 PSI is through the following pipe sizes: 1/2", 1", 1.25", 1.5" & 3". I'm not looking for anything specific, just some general numbers. I'd greatly appreciate any input on this! Thanks!- mapair

Calculating CFM from PSI and C.S.A.
I'm currently designing an air filtration system for the filling compartment of a beverage filler. The goal is to introduce HEPA filtered air at a rate of 2 CFM through a circular pipe opening with diameter of x inches. The air is provided by a compressed air system at a pressure of 120PSI (I...- tk11

Concerning psi and black holes
According to quantum theory the total probability of finding the particle somewhere in space is always zero. So if a particle vanishes in a black hole will that mean (psi)^2 = 0, which is illegal?- shaan_aragorn

What are the best energy sources for building a high pressure cannon?
For recreational/educational purposes, i am looking into building a small cannon which would shoot projectiles of about 1.0 cm in diameter. I would like to gather some information regarding the PSI needed to reach high velocities (roughly 100 m/s) with a projectile of mass around 7 grams. Should...- dekoi

Ice Under Pressure: Density Changes at 0-14k psi?
From looking at the ice phase diagram (btw, does anybody have a high quality version of this? the one I looked at isn't that great), it appears that ice will remain in its first phase at pressures ranging from 0-14k psi. So if there is water in a container that is capable of resisting 15k psi...- BasketDaN

Can Hydraulic Seals Withstand Over 25,000 psi?
I'm unable to find a hydraulic seal with a maximum operating pressure any greater than 11,000 psi, and that was a specific type of "vee packing." Does anybody know of a type of seal that can withstand more?- BasketDaN
