  • One participant questions whether the civilization responsible for the city represents a new race of people or if they are related to the Incas.
  • Another participant asserts that the Incas lived far from the site in question, suggesting that the civilization is more likely related to the Mayans, who were prominent in the region around 1000 years ago.
  • A participant proposes that the newly discovered site is geographically close to known Mayan sites, supporting the idea of a connection to Mayan culture.

The jungle-choked remains of a "lost city", abandoned by a mysterious civilisation several centuries ago and long fabled for reports of its gold and "monkey children", have been uncovered in the depths of the rainforests ofHonduras.

Your links are not helpful. For me at least they do not go to what I assume you think they go to.

And your links make it very unclear what you want to talk about. "Here are some links!" by itself is not helpful.

Is this a new race of people or are they related to the Incas?

Well, everybody is related to everybody else. How would you tell a "new race" from an old one?

The Incas lived nowhere near this site. (The Mayans were just north of it) The Incas lived in the Andes, on the west coast of South America, not the east coast of Central America.

My money would have to be on some sort of Mayan culture.
1000 years ago the Mayans were big players in the region.
They also built and abandoned many cities.
This new site is only about 200 miles east of other known Mayan sites.
