1. Compute the area of the region S between the graphs of f and g over the interal [a,b] specified in each case Make a sketch of the two graphs and indicate S by shading.

Question 9 -F(x)=x^2 g(x)=x+1,a =-1, b = (1+√5)/2

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

I think Ihave the solution,it's just that the intersection points are a bit messy. Is it supposed to be this way or am I missing something?

What do you mean when you say "...the intersection points are a bit messy"? Messy how? Anyway, since we cannot see what you did, how are we supposed to answer?
