Hey guys... So new member here. Stumbled upon this forum since in my endavours to calculate some necessary data for the aircraft I am making, I realized that the internet can full of misleading info!

So here I am, to explore the depths of human knowledge, and maybe make some friends round the way

Physics news on Phys.org
Thanks!

Already looking at the newster for "Fascinating science discussions last week", I can see I will enjoy my stay here

Welcome to the PF.

If it's for an aircraft that people will be flying in, we may be of limited help. Such calculations should be done by a professional engineer in person that you consult with. If it's a model aircraft or RC aircraft, we probably can be of help in the ME/Aero forum.

Hey there.

Nah, the aerodynamics part has been covered to a good degree, I'm more baffled by a few formulas in regards to electric motors. I've posted my problem in this thread:

I am retired with a scientific background in Mathematics and Physics though I quit Academia after graduation. Recently, my interest has revived and I have started to review what I knew before and learn new stuff. My interests are in Physics and Mathematical Physics. I hope I can find answers to some of my questions here and perhaps in the future, I can also answers some questions. How have I arrived here? During the past two months, I have been doing some online research to find the best...
