Can magnetic hoops stacked like a slinky reach geostationary orbit?

Would it be possible to have a stack of thin magnetic hoops that, when energized, space out from each other to reach geo orbiit

Kinda like a magnetic slinky?

what would supply the energy? How much would that source weight? How much would the whole stack weigh, meaning how much weight would the bottom ring have to support? Have you really give any thought to the practicality of what you are asking?
