SUMMARY

The MIT GUI Missile Flyout program effectively simulates ballistic missile launches, modeling their flight characteristics with a functional launch button. The discussion suggests enhancing the program's interface by integrating it with Flash for a more visually appealing experience. The program is available for download at the MIT website, providing a practical tool for understanding missile dynamics. Concerns were raised about the potential misuse of such simulations, highlighting the need for responsible usage.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of ballistic missile dynamics
  • Familiarity with simulation software
  • Basic knowledge of graphical programming interfaces
  • Awareness of ethical considerations in simulation technologies
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore the MIT GUI Missile Flyout program available at the MIT website
  • Research graphical programming techniques using Flash
  • Investigate ethical implications of missile simulation technologies
  • Learn about advanced missile dynamics modeling techniques

Well, since the Gravity Launcher program was deemed to be to fluffy for this forum, let me then post a perhaps more substantive and useful program, even if it isn't as graphically cute:

This program simulates ballistic missile launches, and models their flight characteristics. It has a launch-button, but it would have be cooler if someone could transplant the code logic into a more graphical interface like Flash, so that we could see a cute little missile launch game.
