How did you find PF?
Visited this website a few times over the years, browsing through book recommendations.
Hey there!

I'm Michael, a software developer in the UK.

I am currently on the journey to teach myself mathematics. I haven't studied maths since College/A Levels, and have forgotten so much of it. I'd like to get back into mathematics to further advance my computer science, physics and biology skills (I've been wanting to get into evolutionary algorithms for a while now!)

Anyway, thank you for such a great forum!

I’m a retired ex physicist I guess. Although I have a first degree in theoretical physics and did post graduate studies ( structural phase transitions in strontium Titanate, I did not pursue a career in physics. However it has always been my first love. Since retiring I’ve been interested in quantum computing and quantum mechanics
