Can we observe stars whose light hasn't reached Earth yet?

Are there still stars being discovered? I mean are there stars whose light has not reached us. I think that is only possible if after the BIG BANG matter traveled away from each other with more speed than the speed of light.

Individual stars can be "discovered" by resolving them in higher resolution instruments or by viewing them in particular wavelengths. That is a form of discovery that will never end. Very distant stars at the edge of our observable universe cannot be seen as stars - we have a hard time even seeing the galaxies that host them because they are very faint.
