SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the request for a chart detailing the conductivity, permittivity, and permeability of materials, specifically clay. A user references a resource on permittivity from a website and mentions that the other coefficients can be found in a Physics 102 course textbook. Another participant indicates they have already obtained the necessary information from their textbook, highlighting the availability of these coefficients in academic resources.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of basic physics concepts such as conductivity, permittivity, and permeability.
  • Familiarity with academic resources, particularly Physics 102 textbooks.
  • Knowledge of material properties relevant to clay and other substances.
  • Ability to interpret charts and data related to physical properties of materials.
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the specific conductivity values of clay and other materials.
  • Explore the relationship between permittivity and capacitance in materials.
  • Study the impact of permeability on fluid flow through different materials.
  • Review advanced physics textbooks for detailed charts on material properties.
USEFUL FOR

Students in physics, materials scientists, and engineers interested in the electrical and physical properties of materials, particularly those working with clay and similar substances.

Dear physicists
I'd like to have conductivity, permittivity & permiability chart of materials specially clay.can anyone help me please?
I'd be thabksful if you answer me soon
thanks in advance

Physics news on Phys.org
regarding permittiivity tis might help.(http://www.radio-electronics.com/info/formulae/capacitors/permittivity.php ),
the other terms you can get them from physics 102 course textbook.
