Constructing the real numbers, set theory

My analysis text mentions in passing that the real numbers can be constructed rigorously starting from set theory. I was wondering if there were a resource on the web that might go over this and show the proofs of how this is done?

I don't know if there's an online source for this, but Patrick Suppes' book Axiomatic Set Theory, which is an inexpensive Dover paperback, has a nice clear treatment of the construction of the reals.
