Dimensions greater than the third?

I watched astrophysical lectures by a scientist on the internet, and he claims that there are a total of twelve dimensions of space and time. Inlcluding "hyperdimensional" metaphysical universes and "spiritual" realms of being that are non-physical, and bear non-physical conscious superintelligent entities, and that the physical universe that we know, somehow "branched off" these multi-dimensional universes. The most intriguing thing that this main said, is that the function of the 12th dimension is alledgedly a all-unified consciousness. I didn't really understand a lot of the things this guy said, but do you think it could be possible?
