Do photons and other point particles have mass?

this is a simple question, do photon's and the other point particles have a very small mass, or do they defy the E=MC^2 equation?

Yeah,in principle,that equation is valid for relativistic elementary hence pointlike particles...

And the photon has 0 mass...

The answer is that E = mc^2 only holds for massive bodies at rest.
