hey i am presently in my first year of engineering and have to choose my specialisation degree soon...i like to design and like to do creative stuff and hate mugging properties and stuff...which engineering degree do you think i should pursue

Not sure what "mugging properties and stuff" refers to, but mechanical and civil engineering would allow you to work on design of machines and structural components.
