Does anybody know a university/country where PhD in Physics/Electrical Engineering can be obtained in less than 5 years?
PhD programs in Physics and Electrical Engineering typically range from 3 to 6 years, depending on the country and the student's prior qualifications. In the UK and Europe, a PhD usually takes about 3 years, assuming the candidate has a master's degree. In contrast, US programs can extend from 2 to 6 years post-master's, often with funding provided throughout. The duration of a PhD is largely influenced by the student's progress and circumstances rather than the institution itself.
PREREQUISITESProspective PhD candidates in Physics and Electrical Engineering, academic advisors, and anyone interested in understanding the dynamics of PhD program durations and funding across different countries.
