As far as talent deserving wider recognition Rio Helmi gets my vote. Indonesian originally from Sumatra.
 
I’ve always been drawn to William Eggleston’s color work for how it turns the everyday into something profound. That Robert Frank shot you shared captures a similar raw energy love the layered storytelling in one frame. Lately I’ve been experimenting with similar street scenes using tips from [URL redacted by the Mentors], especially their breakdown of natural light in urban settings. Vivian Maier’s self-portraits are next on my list to study deeper.
