SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the mathematical problem of finding and simplifying the expressions F(7) and F(a^2-2) for a given condition where a is greater than or equal to 2. Participants emphasize the necessity of understanding the function F to proceed with simplification. Without a clear definition or context for F, no definitive simplification can be achieved for the expressions presented.

You're going to have to tell us more. What is F?

Yes. Unless we know something more about F, there is no way to simplify the two expressions.
