Let's say your favorite physics classes have been Thermal Physics, Math Physics, and Nonlinear Systems. What area of research would one possibly like to get into at Graduate school?

With those interests, perhaps you should consider statistical mechanics or some other kind of theoretical soft condensed matter research.
