Click For Summary
New members can update their profile by selecting the "USER" option in the upper right corner of the display. After opening the popup, ensure you are on the "Your Account" tab and select "Account details" to make edits. Scroll down to the desired section, make changes, and click "SAVE" to finalize updates. Users confirmed this method successfully resolved their editing issues. This process allows for easy profile management on the platform.

I'm a new member. I was filling out the "about" section of my profile and saved what I did, but wasn't finished. Now when I go back into this section, I don't see a way to edit it. Your thoughts?

Welcome to PF.

Which fields did you want to update? When you pull down USER in the upper right corner of the display, do you see these options for editing different things?

Starting from the topmost, www.physicsforums.com:

select USER to bring up a popup window, in that popup check to be sure that you're on the "Your Account" tab, then select "Account details", scroll down and edit as necessary and click SAVE when done.

I have some solemn news to report. Many in the community had been wondering where the prolific @Vanadium 50 has been. V50 hasn't posted a message in nearly a year. After months of questioning, the mentor group dug in and did some investigation and we're confident V50 passed away early this year. Few members need reminding what kind of force @Vanadium 50 was for the community and physics. A mentor for 5+ years and an annual award winner seemingly every other year. He has a top 10 post count...
