How do I submit an article for Physics Forums Insights?

What is the procedure for submitting an article for consideration as an Insights Article? What are the constraints on length; the use of public domain graphics; the use of copyrighted graphics with explicit permission of the copyright holder? What is the process of peer-review? What is the process of formal submission, including file format, etc? Are submissions unsolicited or by invitation?

To become an Insights Author, you need to contact @Greg Bernhardt via Private Message, who will determine your suitability, and do the further work to create your Wordpress account and link it with your PF account.
