I'm in grade 11 and I'm not sure how to solve this problem a projectile is lanced from the ground at an angle of 25° and it travels 14.8 m before it hits the ground I have to calculate the initial velocity. Can anyone help me?

Hi Raghav, welcome to Physics Forums!

As Evo said, this particular forum is just for introductions. For asking for help with exercises like yours:

1. Go back to the PF home page.
2. Click on "Homework & Coursework Questions".
3. Click on "Introductory Physics Homework".
4. Read the thread "Guidelines for students and helpers" at the top of that forum.
5. Post a new thread in that forum.

When you start a new thread there, you'll see a template that asks for various things. Please fill it out, don't simply delete it. You need to show at least some of your own work or thoughts about the question, so the helpers know what you specifically need help with. They won't find the solution for you, but they'll give you hints on how to proceed to find the solution yourself.

Good luck!
