How to get two threads merged

In the Earth forum there are two threads with identical questions from the same poster.
Can we merge them? (Precession question).

Or is there an existing mechanism to get them merged...?

I think the mentors can merge threads. You can PM one of them or wait till they see this then it will be down to the mentors discretion.
