SUMMARY

The discussion centers on a student's dilemma between pursuing particle physics and astrophysics. Both fields are equally fascinating to the student, who is currently in 11th grade and contemplating their future career. The consensus suggests that rather than choosing a specific field immediately, the student should major in physics to gain a foundational understanding before specializing. This approach allows for exploration and informed decision-making regarding future interests.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of physics principles
  • Familiarity with scientific inquiry methods
  • Interest in theoretical concepts of the universe
  • Knowledge of current advancements in both particle physics and astrophysics
NEXT STEPS
  • Research introductory courses in physics, focusing on both particle physics and astrophysics
  • Explore online resources or textbooks on the fundamentals of particle physics
  • Investigate astrophysics through documentaries and popular science literature
  • Engage with physics communities or forums to discuss interests and career paths
USEFUL FOR

High school students interested in physics, educators guiding students in career choices, and anyone exploring the fields of particle physics and astrophysics.

i can't understand about my own interest! i don't know which one to choose as my subject as both of them fascinate me and i like both the topic. Those topics are:1-particle physics, its the topic in which we can understand the very beginning of things; 2-astro physics, a topic in which we can understand the universe and it fascinates me!

i study in 11th but its not wrong to think about our carrer?

please help me so that i can take one topic and start learning, understanding and think something new out of it...

You don't have to choose *specific field* right now. Just major in physics first.
