I want to find that book. I think it is Ron Larson LinAlg, but I'm not sure.

Elementary linear algebra by Ron Larson and David C Falvo. I found it by searching for the phrase "the solutions of the homogeneous system having this coefficient matrix" at google books.

Edit: That second book mentions only Ron Larson on the cover, not David Falvo.
