AI Thread Summary
In the search for inexpensive MODBUS devices for medium-scale compatibility testing with a new controller, users are encouraged to explore various resources. Schneider Electric offers some moderately priced options, but there is a preference for more affordable "jellybean" products for system testing. Useful links for finding suitable devices include the Modbus organization’s device directory and Automation Direct, which provides a range of MODBUS-compatible products at competitive prices. These resources can assist in identifying cost-effective solutions for testing needs.

Does anybody know of inexpensive MODBUS devices that we can purchase for some medium-scale compatibility testing with a new controller that we are building? There are some moderately expensive products from Schneider Electric, but we're hoping to find some more "jellybean" products that we can try out in our System Testing. Thanks.

And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
