International Research Opportunities

Hello,

I'd really like to join some research in Europe, preferably Scotland or France, next summer. I'll be heading into my third year as a Math/Phys. & Astro double major. It seems like there much fewer undergrad research opportunities abroad than there are in the US.

Are there any good REU type programs in Europe that someone could point me to, or any advice about reaching out to international universities/professors about doing research at their institutions?
