SUMMARY

A black hole is not waterproof; water, like all matter, will fall into a black hole. The discussion clarifies that the concept of a black hole being "proof" against water is misleading. The definitive conclusion is that water is not resistant to the gravitational pull of a black hole, and it will inevitably be drawn in.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of general relativity
  • Basic knowledge of black hole physics
  • Familiarity with gravitational forces
  • Concept of event horizons
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the properties of black holes in general relativity
  • Learn about the concept of event horizons and their implications
  • Explore the effects of gravity on different forms of matter
  • Investigate the behavior of matter near black holes
USEFUL FOR

Astronomy enthusiasts, physics students, and anyone interested in the fundamental properties of black holes and gravitational phenomena.

So the title pretty much sums it up. I'm having a heated discussion on this topic with a friend so yes/no at the end would be nice

The question has no relevant meaning.

Water will fall into a black hole just like any other matter. A better statement would be that water is not black-hole proof.
