Creativity is not a strict requirement for becoming an engineer, as there are various types of engineering roles that cater to different skill sets. While some engineers thrive on creativity and innovation, others excel in practical, detail-oriented tasks that ensure project completion. It's important to recognize that both creative and analytical skills can contribute to engineering success. Ultimately, pursuing a career in engineering should align with personal interests and strengths, rather than conforming to stereotypes about creativity. Problem-solving skills, which can include a degree of intuition or creativity, are valuable in the field.

There is room for different types of engineer. Some engineers are really creative, and that's great, but there is also a real need for people who are good at turning the crank and getting projects completed.

nice , i thought that only people who have imaginations only could become engineers thanks alot

Stereotypes and notions don't matter. Do what makes you happy!

thanks man

While you do not need to be super creative, some sort of intuition or creativity is certainly required (problem solving skills).
